Welcome to Newton

Located in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, the city of Newton comprises 13 villages with no city center; the city is commonly referred to as a "patchwork" of communities and has a population of over 88,000. The "Garden City", Newton is beloved for its beautiful scenery amongst the picturesque streets lined with shops, eateries, and historic architecture. Newton is connected to Boston via the Mass Pike (I-90), Boylston St (Route 9), MBTA Subway (D Trains on the Green Line), Commuter Rail, and the Charles River. The many shops and residencies of Chestnut Hill are also located in Newton’s Eastern boarder with Brookline and West Roxbury. Boston College, Lasell University, and UMASS Amherst all have campuses in Newtown which provide the city with its diverse community of students, young professionals, and families.
